KARI: Placemats and Napkin Rings
Hi Ladies~ Here is what I've been working on lately. Placemats and Napkin Rings for my cousin Jolyn who was married on July 4th. The red checkered background is the homemade blocking board I made using a cardboard display board, a yard of fabric and some Aleene's fabric glue. Each square measures one inch so it was easy to block the placemats by counting the squares. They are drying now by with this heat they'll be done rapidly, I'm sure. The napkin rings were done by knitting on 26 guage wire stringing beads as I went along. I used inexpensive Sugar 'n Cream cotton yarn so it could wash up easily if they actually eat on them and spill. :0)

I tried to comment the other day but the blog didn't like me! Those are very cute! I love the napkin rings! And your blocking board is very clever!
