Fran: Finally Finished Josh's Sweater!
Well, after only 4 months I fnally finished Joshua's sweater! I started it back in June but finally put the thing together last night. I finished weaving all the ends in this morning and he didn't take it off until I cooked him out with the wood stove. I figured I should finish it since it was freezing out (Well, that and I didn't want him to outgrow it before he got the chance to wear it!)
It wasn't that difficult to make, just a little time consuming. This one is made of Lion Homespun (Delfit) and the pattern is on the Lion website if you should want to whip one up. ;)
I made one for Gracie too but my kids have big ol' Charlie brown heads (they have large brains!) You can see her hood should be a little bit bigger. Hers was the first one I did and I actually did the body twice so there was no way I was doing anything more to it. Someone who has a child with a smaller head will be getting a new sweater (I'm thinking Paige would look cute in it. )
I'm off to knit some more, Christmas is coming!
